To celebrate the rich history of the Sarah Ann Austin, we proudly donate a percentage of the turnover from these trips to The Royal National Lifeboat Institution (RNLI).

An Historic Icon
The Sarah Ann Austin, listed on the National Historic Ships register, is a Liverpool Class Lifeboat with a mahogany construction. Built by Groves and Gutteridge of Cowes in 1937, she served as the Blackpool Beach lifeboat from 1937 to 1961 and is credited with saving 32 lives at sea.
In a step toward sustainability, Sarah has been converted from a diesel engine to a battery-powered electric motor, making her one of the few commercial vessels in the UK operating solely on electric power on tidal rivers.
